Looking for today's Tiny Little Crosswords answers? Today's solved grid — dated July 24, 2026 — is at the top of this page, with every across and down word filled in, updated as soon as the new puzzle goes live. Tiny Little Crosswords is Blue Ox's one-clue mini crossword: you get a single theme for the whole grid and a pile of loose letters, and nothing else. That's what makes it deceptively hard — with no per-word clues to fall back on, one word you can't see keeps the rest of the grid locked. The full solution is below.

Today's Tiny Little Crosswords answers
Today's solved grid is shown above with every across and down word in place, plus the day's theme. Because Tiny Little Crosswords gives you one clue for the entire puzzle rather than a clue per word, there's nothing to reveal entry by entry — so the answers are laid out from the start and you can look at just the word whose squares you couldn't fill. The grid is confirmed against the day's puzzle and refreshed every day.
What is Tiny Little Crosswords?
Tiny Little Crosswords is a daily mini crossword from Blue Ox Family Games, the Maine studio behind 7 Little Words, Red Herring and Monkey Wrench. It now runs as one of the daily games inside the free 7 Little Words and More app, and Blue Ox describes it about as plainly as you can: tiny, but not always easy.
The twist is that you get one clue for the whole grid. A theme like “Big boxes” or “All kinds of happy” sits above a small grid — typically 6×6 or 7×7, holding three to five interlocking words — and a bank of loose letters you drag into the squares. Every answer has to fit that theme, so the theme is doing the work of five separate clues at once. The daily puzzles are edited by Joe Jordan and reset at midnight Eastern Time.
How Tiny Little Crosswords works
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| One clue | A single theme covers the whole grid — there are no per-word clues |
| Grid size | Usually 6×6 or 7×7, holding three to five interlocking words |
| Answer lengths | Short — roughly two to seven letters each |
| Letters supplied | You drag letters from a fixed bank into the squares; every letter gets used |
| New puzzle | Daily, at the midnight Eastern reset |
Tips for solving Tiny Little Crosswords
- Read the theme as a category, not a definition. It rarely points at one specific word — it tells you what kind of word every answer is.
- Let the square count narrow it. Once you know the theme is, say, girls' names, a six-letter slot cuts the field down fast.
- Work the crossings hard. With only three to five words in the grid, one confirmed answer usually hands you a letter in every other entry.
- Watch for fill-in-the-blank themes like “Mr. ___”, where the clue is really a pattern the answers complete.
- The letter bank is exact. If you finish a word and awkward letters are left over, that word is probably wrong even if it fits the theme.

Frequently asked questions
What are today's Tiny Little Crosswords answers?
Today's theme and the complete solved grid (July 24, 2026) are at the top of this page — every across and down word filled in, updated as soon as the new puzzle goes live.
What is Tiny Little Crosswords?
It's Blue Ox Family Games' daily mini crossword, from the same studio as 7 Little Words. You get one theme clue for the whole grid and a bank of letters to drag into the squares — every answer has to fit that single theme. It's free in the 7 Little Words and More app.
Why is there only one clue?
That's the whole design. Instead of a clue per entry, Tiny Little Crosswords gives you a single theme covering all three to five words in the grid, which is why the puzzles look small but play tough — there's no separate clue to fall back on for the one word you can't see.
How big are the grids?
Small — usually 6×6 or 7×7, holding three to five interlocking answers of roughly two to seven letters each. Most solvers finish in a minute or two when the theme clicks.
What time does Tiny Little Crosswords reset?
A new puzzle appears every day at midnight Eastern Time. We post the confirmed grid as soon as it goes live.
