Clue explained
Cream is the dairy often added to coffee, and it’s also the name of a British rock trio active from 1966 to 1968. The group brought together guitarist Eric Clapton, bassist Jack Bruce, and drummer Ginger Baker, each already an accomplished musician. Their blues-inflected, psychedelic sound helped make them one of rock’s early supergroups. “Sunshine of Your Love,” with its instantly recognizable guitar riff, became one of their signature songs.
